Experience a night of culinary delights with an evening of flavours from around Abbotsford and the Fraser Valley. From dishes made with local ingredients to handcrafted beverages to live music, this event is the best way to end your summer and welcome the fall season.
Taste of Abby Guided Circle Farm Tour
As part of Taste of Abby, we are dedicating a day to take visitors on a guided tour of Abbotsford's Circle Farm Tour partners. The tour will take 5 hours, highlighting our farm experiences, farm-to-table offerings, and wine experiences. We'll start our morning at the Abbotsford Farm and Country Market with some shopping! Then we'll load onto the shuttle bus and head over to our first tour of the EcoFarm Discovery Centre. After that, we'll break for a yummy picnic lunch from our friends at Nature's Pickin's and then make our way over to Campbell's Gold Honey Farm & Meadery for an educational tour as they share their knowledge and love of bees and the environment. We'll finish of our day with a wine tasting at the beautiful Seaside Pearl Farmgate Winery.
Taste of Abby Fraser Valley Artisans Food Hub Culinary Showcase
Experience all that the Fraser Valley Artisans Food Hub has to offer with their culinary showcase as a part of Taste of Abby week! The FVAFH is a shared use commercial kitchen that is available for rent by food businesses, such as caterers, food trucks, and small-scale food producers.
Taste of Abby Pickleball + Pints
Ever wanted to give pickleball a try? Now you can! Tourism Abbotsford has booked the courts at Jubilee Park and teamed up with the Go Play Outside Team to provide an afternoon of pickleball fun. Extra paddles will be available. This is a free event but registration is required. Treat yourself afterwards at Old Yale Brewing with extra specials for our pickleball players! Lepp Farm Market will also be on site with some tasty pickling items and recipes to try. You don’t want to miss out on this engaging Pickleball + Pints afternoon! Space is limited. Sign up today!
Taste of Abby Grape-Stomping at Singletree Winery
Have you ever wanted to crush grapes the old-fashioned way with your toes? Gather up your friends and sign up to experience grape stomping at Singletree Winery. Book your time slot with up to four friends. Registration is free and you can reward yourself with a glass of Singletree’s finest before and after. Singletree Winery is the place to taste the flavours of BC wine country!
Abbotsford Farm & Country Market
Abbotsford’s original farmer’s market! Running from 9am until 12pm on Saturdays at Jubilee Park in Historic Downtown Abbotsford. Local producers with in-season vegetables and fruits, processed foods, unique arts and crafts, live entertainment, prize giveaways and events.
Harvest Fest 2023
In association with Longboard Architectural Products as the Presenting Sponsor, the Abbotsford Fire Fighters Association is pleased to bring the community together for a wonderful night. Dinner will be provided by local favorite Simply Savory Catering, live music from the Tanner Olson Band and Ryan McAllister, along with dancing, silent auctions, and much more. Get your country western vibe on and come throw some axes at our axe throwing booth, try your luck at Giant Jenga, and many other fun games. Beer and Wine from local producers will be highlighted at this event as we celebrate the harvest season. If that's not enough, all proceeds from this event will go towards the Cyrus Center, the Starfish Backpack program, and the Monarch House. See you there!
Downtown Abbotsford Art & Wine Walk
The Art & Wine Walk is one of the most popular events in Downtown Abbotsford! This ticketed event is hosted within the downtown businesses and features talented artists & local food and beverages. There are many mediums of work showcased at the Art & Wine Walk including painting, photography, pottery, music, sculptures, and many more. Ticket holders receive a beverage sample at each stop and get to keep their glass as a souvenir to take home!
Taste of Abby Foraging Workshop
Have you ever wondered how to ethically forage the native plants in your own backyard and what you can make with them? Now’s your chance! Alongside our friends from Forage & Faire, Howesclere Evergreens & Gardens, Monica Ott from Forest Gifts and the Fraser Valley Conservancy; join us for a perfect fall evening where we’ll learn all about ethical foraging, native plant species, how to use the plants, and what plants to eat during our Foraging Workshop.
